Architecture and Art meet in the metaverse with the unveiling of Outland’s newest exhibit featuring INFINITE MUSEUM, a virtual NFT art gallery designed by award-winning Architect Dan Brunn exclusively to host Fragments, a series by Artist James Jean.

NFT EVENT WITH OUTLAND ART AT BRIDGE HOUSE

Infinite Museum, the virtual NFT art gallery emphasizes the individuality of the Fragments series at a singular level, and as a whole, as part of a vast collection. The metaverse design of Fragments creates something familiar yet harnesses new possibilities of weightlessness. The virtual gallery was launched Friday, August 19, through a private event hosted at Bridge House, Dan Brunn’s eco-friendly residential oasis in the heart of Hancock Park. The event featured a vernissage of the virtual gallery along with live pieces of James Jean’s previous creations.

From the onset, the event balanced the physical limitations of earth and the metaverse in Fragments. While experiencing the Infinite Museum NFT via an LED screen, guests enjoyed sounds by DJ Kenny Yim while sipping craft cocktails curated by Madre Mezcal, Ghia, Peroni, and small bites brought to life by private chef Luigi Fineo. The experience culminated with a sunset viewing from the property’s terrace while overlooking the lush gardens wrapping up around the bridge of the house.

ABOUT JAMES JEAN: James Jean (b. 1979, Taipei) is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose works explore imagination and reality through narrative-driven, layered compositions. His expressionistic, painterly approach to mark-making blends figuration with abstraction in works that are at once technically precise and gestural. He works primarily in painting and drawing, while also embracing other media including sculpture, installation, and video. Fusing aspects of history, tradition, literature, nature, and personal experience, Jean’s dream-like and at times disorienting, visual vocabulary draws upon art historical antecedents ranging from Baroque, painting to Japanese woodblock prints and Chinese silk scroll paintings.
