Bridge House Los Angeles

A visionary architectural project offers an updated take on residential building.

A visionary architectural project born in the heart of Hancock Park, Bridge House LA offers an updated take on residential building, characterized by respect to the environment and a deep connection to nature. Dan Brunn Archirtecture’s one-of-a-kind “bridge house” earns its name by traversing 65’ over a natural stream. The 4,500-square-foot home serves as a demonstration of innovative systems and forward-thinking processes. The result of Dan’s inspiration, paired with his unique background and signature minimalist style, is a pointed approach to development and a brilliant use of space. Choreography of light and volume convey drama and intrigue, without compromising simplicity, functionality, and sustainability.

The objective of this long lead communication plan was to share Architect Dan Brunn’s lesson on innovative use of space and systems. Brunn sought to inspire other architects, designers and homeowners to look at residential living in a way that takes into account a necessary respect for the environment.

To showcase this property and Brunn’s visionary concept, Eclat created a robust PR campaign designed to bring awareness, engage with the architecture and design community, and activate and showcase the space. Eclat harnessed the power of storytelling through targeted and diversified narratives in order to educate international media, architectural stakeholders, and the general public about Brunn’s distinct design philosophy.

The results were wide reaching international press placements from a host of leading and respected architecture, design, and lifestyle magazines. Placements were consistent and told the architect’s story from concept to realization, and beyond, highlighting his architectural lesson in minimalist building and sustainable solutions.
